Safety Precautions
- Disconnect power before wiring
- Keep pedestrians clear during testing
- Prevent moving door parts from contacting wiring
- Follow ANSI A156.10 / A156.19 safety standards
- Do not attempt internal repairs
- Use ESD protection when handling electronics
Installation
Remove the Cover
- Gently pry the rear tab
- Remove the cover carefully
- Avoid damaging the housing clips
Mounting Guidelines
- Mount 0″–2″ from the bottom of the header
- Flush mounting is required for negative IR angles
- Leave the cover off until setup is complete
Cable Routing
Route the cable around the internal plastic post to:
- Prevent water intrusion
- Improve cover installation
- Reduce cable strain
