OA-Edge Secondary Activation & Stall Connection Matrix

Overview

This connection matrix provides wiring information for integrating the OA-Edge sensor with various automatic door operators for:

  • Secondary Activation (Approach Side Reactivation) using Output 2
  • Swing Side Stall/Safety Protection using Output 1

General Installation Notes

  • Use Output 2 when mounting the sensor on the approach side.
  • Use Output 1 when mounting the sensor on the swing side.
  • Swing side stall functionality may require additional switches or wiring for 12–24 VAC/VDC inhibit depending on the operator.

  • Connections are suitable for both Fully Automatic and Knowing Act applications.

SAM Required = YES

  • Connections are suitable for Fully Automatic applications.
  • Knowing Act applications require a SAM Module or additional wiring for Output 2 (approach side sensor).
